This is a rare ingot made by the Cripple Creek Mining Company out of Cripple Creek, Colorado located near Victor. I lived in Denver for quite a while and visited this old mining area on more than one occasion. Today, Cripple Creek is a small town full mostly of casinos, hotels and restaurants. Still, Cripple Creek is famous for its mining history and these ingots typically bring a large premium.
