The 1901 Barber Dime was minted in large numbers (18.8 million) but today finding them in higher grades of mint state is difficult. That said, the price for such a coin where there is only 1 graded MS67 at PCGS, and a couple dozen in 66 ... to me, is quite low. Silver dimes ARE collected , and barber dimes are tough to find nice and in mint state grades especially. You can take home a high grade example of a 1901, with incredible target toning for only $1000.
