I call this a perfect "collector coin" for a couple of reasons. For one, it is obviously a 1893-S Morgan, the key date for the Morgan Dollar series of silver dollars. Morgan dollars are the most collected series of US coins, perhaps next to Lincoln cents. These are often sought in lower grades like AG03 or G6 for budget reasons, but when you compare prices ... you can get a much nicer coin here at F15 CAC for not much more money. The other reason I consider this a great coin for a long-term collector is the holder and CAC sticker combination - I think PCGS examples firstly are in demand due to the registry sets, and while PCGS doesn't award extra points for CAC - it is a great add-on which increases the desirability and price that it can command. This holder is interesting too - the San Francisco mint commemorative image is not often seen in the marketplace. Lastly - just look at the coin! It is NICE!!
