These saddle ridge hoard coins are a lot of fun. First off, it comes with a special presentation box that includes a booklet telling the story of the famous Californian find as well as a complete census of the hoard. Second, they all possess this incredible level of preservation to them that make the coin perfect for a sense of what gold coins looked like back when they were first minted. This coin sat for about a century buried in a coffee can on a ranch in CA before being discovered in 2014. A truly fun and collectible piece.
